Another large addition on Walker Avenue in Oakland

We added a second story to the back half of this early 1900's home to make way for a family room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful outdoor living area.  The house went from a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom to a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom plus a family room, adding 799 square feet of living space.

Recent Accomplishment

Last winter and spring we dug out under this 3 unit building off Lakeshore Ave. in Oakland to make a nice lower apartment. Here are some pictures.  This is our second project in  the Grand Lake Theater area. We are currently on our 3rd.

This is the beginning we shored up the building with railroad ties and started digging out with a bobcat for more head height.

This near complete bathroom deserves a photo. 2 months earlier it was was the back of a garage and would be 2 and a half feet underground.

Grand Lake. Garage Becoming Master Suite!

Dig me out! We are taking this double garage under this large 1920's Oakland home and converting it to a bedroom/walk in closet with laundry and bathroom. We are also remodeling the kitchen and moving some walls to open up the feel of the place. We are literally breaking ground here, going down about 8" to get more ceiling height. Stay tuned for more progress!

"Garage with slab"we put up a few temporary beams because we removed some walls.

East Oakland and Beyond

Good work environment for the summer of '15! Built a large Trex deck and other projects on this Oakland property.

My client is ecstatic with an additional 500+ square feet of great hang out space. Under frame beefed up for hot tub.

We used hidden fasteners on the decking for a cleaner look. 220 is wired in for the hot tub and additional outlets as well.
